Wetherspoons coming to Beverley

Pub chain JD Wetherspoons is soon to be taking over the Cross Keys site on Lairgate, and investing in a £1million refurbishment of the building, subject to planning permission.

It will take around three to four months to complete, but Wetherspoons is confident that Beverley is the perfect spot to open its newest pub.

A spokesman said: "Beverley is a good market town, with a good population. It was already a busy pub, which we hope will be at the heart of the town in the future."
