Friday 17th April after several months of construction work, Beverley and East Riding Golf Club unveiled their two new Greens on holes 4 and 7.
A 20-tonne metal lifted bridge has been successfully lifted from the River Hull in Beverley in the first phase of a £1m refurbishment project.
There is certainly a spring in the step of several Beverley runners as they put on their running shoes producing some outstanding performances during the month as well as putting in the training for some popular upcoming local races! Huge congratulations to one member who has certainly put in the miles especially on the trails! Peter Watkinson received his ‘1000 miles’ awards from Hardmoors organisers, Jon and Shirley Steele, and he received a plaque, hoodie and permanent running number after completing the Hardmoors 55. Well done Peter on your incredible achievement!
