Your Business Questions Answered at Pop-Up Business Cafe
Mon 20th June 2016A Popup Business Cafe will be coming to Beverley’s Georgian Quarter on Tuesday, 19 July, giving people the chance to get their business questions answered, for free, by local experts.
The award-winning Popup Business Cafes are informal and relaxed and offer the opportunity for people to sit down with a cuppa and ask the burning questions that are holding their businesses back. The advice is free and the focus is on answering questions and providing practical solutions.
There will be local expertise available and people willing to have their brains picked on business subjects, such as marketing, social media, copywriting, PR, websites, SEO, tax, accountancy and more.
The local experts who have volunteered their time to advise you are:
James Londesborough of Ignite Marketing. Ask him about Marketing and Digital Marketing.
Katrina Thompson of Kat Productions. Ask her about Social Media and Digital Marketing.
Stuart Hancock of Bluefish Web Solutions. Ask him about reviewing your website and make it work better.
Heather McIntyre of Acorn Fund. Ask her about options to raise finance for your business.
Mike Beckett of Forrester Boyd Robson. Ask him about Tax, accountancy and record keeping.
Chris Moore and Darren Roberts from East Riding Council. Ask them for business advice about starting up, growing and planning.
People who have attended Pop-up Business Cafes elsewhere in North Yorkshire and the East Riding shared their thoughts on the events, saying:
“Super useful! Free brilliant advice. No sales pitch and lots of patience for all my questions.”
“The advice on growing your business has probably saved our business.”
“Free, no pressure advice in a relaxed environment.”
The event will be held at North Bar Tea Rooms, in the Georgian Quarter, on Tuesday, 19 July, from 9am-1pm. The event is free to attend, but businesses are advised to book a place in advance. Book by visiting the Eventbrite page.
The event is organised by the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership. Popup Business Cafes earned a High Impact Award from Global Entrepreneurship Week 2015 in recognition of providing practical support to businesses.
