Beverley Racecourse introduced Rio Rio Carnival Night to the racing calendar as part of the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival. It was certainly 'Hot, Hot, Hot'!
The spirit of Rio came to Beverley with samba, carnival floats, drummers, face-painters and a wandering band as Beverley Racecourse counted down to the Rio Olympics.
Go Racing in Yorkshire is synonymous with the very best in British horseracing, with their Summer Festival seeing the nine Yorkshire Racecourses - Beverley, Catterick, Doncaster, Pontefract, Redcar, Ripon, Thirsk, Wetherby and York - take part.
The nine courses host 180 days of racing throughout the year, from the pure adrenaline of championship races to the relaxed informality of family days.
