Racecourse receives refurbishment
Fri 25th April 2014Beverley Racecourse has been given a £750,000 facelift over the winter off-season.
The newly-formed Cleverly's Bistro & Bar on the first floor of the grandstand now has a balcony area. Sporting a New York Loft feel with lots of reclaimed timber and interesting features, you can enjoy amazing views over the Westwood and the racecourse. Tasty bistro-style locally sourced food is served to your table with no need for reservations.
The Whistlejackets in the Premier Enclosure stand has also been enlarged and boasts the Wold Top Real Ale Bar; an original oak bar with cask ale on tap. It has a first class club lounge feel, with comfy leather sofas and super smart toilet facilities.
Other changes include a renovation to the judges' viewpoint, which now resembles a clock tower, and a revamp to the front of the racecourse.
