Beverley Boyes Recognises Affluent Demographic
Mon 11th December 2017Boyes iconic flagship store, situated in Wednesday Market, is hoping to improve its range of branded goods, with a particular focus on popular clothing labels. Since taking the position in February, Store Manager Tanya Hogarth says major improvements have been made to the renowned Yorkshire-based chain. Following up on constructive feedback from regular Beverley shoppers, there has been concerted efforts to establish a better-organised layout to the store. Tanya said that there is never a dull moment in Beverley with locals 'keeping her on her toes' and helping her to keep Boyes continuously moving forward and meeting shoppers' needs.
Utilising the store's impressive shop-front, the four window displays showcase a range of goods – tailored seasonally, thematically and in line with local events. Currently boasting a trio of snowmen adorned with tinsel and holly alongside a range of wooly garments, the festive vision is enough to get even the most Scrooge-like amongst us in the Christmas spirit!
The store plans to exhibit a cycle-themed display in May 2017 for the Tour de Yorkshire which runs from the 3-6 May with the route passing directly outside the shop. Now selling popular sports clothing brands such as Regatta and Trespass, Boyes offers customers stylish sportswear at a fraction of the price of many traditional sports shops.
In the last few months, the store has taken on two new buyers, introduced luxury skincare brand Baylis and Harding and started selling a more diverse selection of homeware. Much in line with changes to Wednesday Market, Boyes hopes to appeal to a wider range of customers. Tanya is delighted with so many new ventures opening around Beverley in recent months which is increasing footfall to the Boyes store as well as into Beverley itself.
