A Yorkshire Day to Remember

A successful Yorkshire Day was celebrated at Beverley Minster this weekend.
The Minster teamed up with Beverley Town Council to organised a memorable day, filled with entertainment for all the family.
The Mayor of Beverley's Civic Service on Saturday 1st August commemorated John of Beverley, a Yorkshire Saint.
The celebrations continued with a Yorkshire Day Garden Party in the grounds of the Minster and finished with the grand Patchwork Proms.
Children's entertainments ensured there was fun for all the family, including Garden Party games and rides, cream teas and a brass band.
