Tre Amici Homecoming Gig on March 20th in Hull
Thu 7th February 2019One-time Beverley buskers, Tre Amici (Leroy Vickers, Martin Jackson and Richard Thomas) have been singing together for 4 years but friends for many more.
Their first big event was supporting local star Joe Longthorne at Hull New Theatre which resulted in them being invited to The London Palladium to celebrate Joe’s life and perform at the after party at London’s Hippodrome Casino.
In 2015 Tre Amici won The Hull Daily Mail Star Search (the only ever classical act to win) which led to them being invited to audition for Open Mic UK in 2016, and after winning all 3 heats and the Grand Final (the only ever classical act to win) they were invited to support Professor Green at the P1 Power Boat Race event.
The band have also had the pleasure of performing for The Queens Charity (Not Forgotten Association) in 2017, after their performance they were invited to attend Buckingham Palace for an event hosted by Prince Harry...
For the last 12 months the guys have been busy performing on cruise ships around the world as well as being championed by Robbie Williams at last year's “The X Factor UK”.
Their special homecoming concert at Hull City Hall on March 20th will feature a new song written to commemorate Luciano Pavarotti as well as featuring all the favourite opera standards; they will be accompanied by The Steve (Stretch) price Band. In support will be the All for One Choir and Lucy Kay. Tickets are £22.50 available from 01482 300300.
Wouldn't it be lovely if the lads travelled down Memory Lane and busked again in Beverley............................they always attracted a great crowd!
