Easter holiday activities at Sewerby Hall and Gardens
Tue 14th March 2017Sewerby Hall and Gardens have three weeks of family fun activities planned for the Easter holidays.
Between Saturday, 1 and Sunday, 23 April, there are plenty of activities and events planned for visitors young and old alike.
The line-up includes an appearance by the Easter Bunny showing off his fantastic balloon modelling skills, Punch and Judy Shows, a seasonal house trail, Easter bonnet making and egg decorating sessions, a craft fair, the ever-popular Medieval Jousting, fun-packed Magic Days with donkey rides and magic shows together with brand-new Rusticus Theatre Arts activities, brand-new interactive music workshops all accompanied by the high standard of Orangery concerts.

Kicking off the exhibitions in the house and running until Sunday, 21 May is Little Works of Art: 100 years of Greetings Cards; a charming display exploring the history of greeting cards and postcards.
The exhibition features historic cards dating from the 1850s to the 1950s. Christmas, New Year and Easter cards as well as Birthday and Valentine cards are all represented.

Admission charges are £7 for adults, £4.90 for children and £22 for a family (two adults and two children) and apply from Saturday, 1 April. There is no additional charge to attend events and activities unless otherwise stated.
Excellent value annual passes are also available starting from £12.50 and can be purchased or renewed online or via any pay box.
