Appeal for museum artefacts
Wed 29th January 2014An exhibition entitled ' Cavalry, Camels and Camaraderie: The East Riding Yeomanry in the Great War', due to take place at the Treasure House from July until September, is already gathering pace.
Many artefacts have already been donated for display, including medals, diaries, service documents, photographs and maps, but the museum is still appealing for more items.
The exhibition focuses on the role of this local regiment in the Egypt/Palestine campaign from 1915-1918.
Please contact the Treasure House on 01482 392780, if you have anything you would like to be displayed as part of the exhibition.
