Beverley Pride is back for its third year, and 2025 is shaping up to be its biggest and boldest celebration yet — taking over the heart of Beverley for the very first time with an exciting new location at Flemingate.
This year's free, inclusive, and family-friendly Pride celebration takes place on Saturday 16th August, bringing a full day of music, colour and community to the town centre.
To kick off the celebrations, the Hull NHS Choir will perform a special set at Market Cross in Beverley at 11am, setting the tone for a day of joy, unity and celebration. After their performance, the choir will head to Flemingate, marking the official start of Beverley Pride 2025. It’s our way of letting the town know — Pride has arrived in Beverley!
From 12pm to 6pm, Flemingate will be transformed into a vibrant Pride space with live
performances from:
• Linkage Choir
• Stevie Mould
• Hull NHS Choir
• Callum Charter
• Roxie Royale
• Kaeya
Hosted by the fabulous Queen Margarita
The daytime event also includes community stalls, workshops, food and cake vendors, and a dedicated family area with arts and crafts. A special feature this year is the “Joy Board” — a collaborative creative project designed by the BEAMS group from Beverley High School, inviting young people to express what Pride means to them.
“We are incredibly excited to be bringing Beverley Pride to Flemingate for the first time,”
said Daniel Rothery, Chairperson of Beverley Pride.
“Having the event so visibly placed in the centre of Beverley is a huge step forward in showing that Pride belongs to everyone in our community.
We’re especially proud that our daytime event remains so family-friendly and welcoming to all, with something for every age and background to enjoy.”
As the sun sets, the celebration continues with the official Pride Afterparty from 6pm
at Firepit, featuring:
LIPSYNC FOR UR LIFE ft.
• Kitty Blanchet
• Aphantasia
• Eve/Adam Stein
• Hex Appeal
• Sian De Paul
• Rebecca Ivy Briggs
• Roxie Royale Burlesque
• DJ Jack Leckonby
• And a LADY GAGA Tribute to close the night in true Pride style!
This event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of sponsors including main sponsor KCOM, as well as Sewell on the go, Qream T’s Cakery, Sunset Studios, East Riding College, and Flemingate itself.
Beverley Pride 2025 promises a joyful, welcoming, and powerful celebration of identity, inclusion and unity — with plenty of sparkle, music and meaning. Everyone is welcome.
