Win Kubo Goodies!

This month’s competition will see the lucky winner walk away with a KUBO goodie pack plus a pair of tickets to any film of their choice. The KUBO pack includes a bag, an origami set and pen and a poster! There are also 4 pairs of runner-up tickets courtesy Parkway Cinema Beverley.

Kubo and the Two Strings is released on September 9th. It’s an epic adventure animation film set in a Japanese-style fantasy land from the award-winning studio LAIKA. LAIKA’s previous films include Boxtrolls, Coraline, ParaNorman, Moongirl and Corpse Bride.

Directed by Travis Knight, Kubo and the Two Strings tells the story of Kubo who makes a living by telling stories. Unfortunately, he accidently summons a spirit from his past which creates havoc trying to enforce an age-old vendetta. Kubo runs away from the spirit and his family, joining forces with Monkey and Beetle who help him solve the mystery of the vendetta and his father, who was once the greatest Samurai warrior the world has ever known. Kubo has a magical instrument called a 'shamisen' which helps him in his battles with gods and monsters. He also has to deal with the villainous Moon King and the evil Twin Sisters. Ultimately, Kubo is able to fulfil his destiny, reunite his family and be hailed as a hero.

Various parts in the film are voiced by some very famous actors, including George Takei, Matthew McConaughey, Charlize Theron, Rooney Mara and Ralph Fiennes. To be in with a chance of winning the KUBO goodie pack and tickets, just answer the following question:
