Town Criers mark 20 years of the East Riding of Yorkshire

Town Criers from all over the country arrived in Flemingate this morning ready to compete for the loudest and quietest cries, celebrate 20 years of the East Riding of Yorkshire with cake and a specially-brewed pale ale and be involved in the world record attempt of the largest number of people ringing bells at the same time. 12noon tomorrow is the place to be with your bell! You can use any type of bell, including the bell on your mobile phone, so get yourself over to Flemingate ready to ring!
