Tourist Information to relocate to Treasure House
Mon 11th December 2017Beverley's Tourist Information Centre is transitioning from its current situe on Butcher Row onto the first floor of the unmistakable Treasure House building.
The move is going ahead due to the lease on Butcher Row coming to an end. It is hoped that the merging of the Tourist Information Centre with other public facilities such as the Beverley Library, Art Gallery and the East Riding archives will ease accessibility to the TIC service and improve its profile.
Councillor Richard Burton, portfolio holder for leisure, tourism and culture at East Riding of Yorkshire Council said that the move was vital in order to "secure their long-term future in the town" and house the TIC "within one of Beverley's most iconic cultural venues."
Only the location of the Tourist Information Centre has changed, all previous services are still available and no affect has been made to staffing levels.
Opening Times:
Monday to Friday 9:30am – 5pm
Saturday 9am – 4pm
