Tour De Yorkshire 2016 To Start in Beverley

Announced by the Tour De Yorkshire team this morning, Stage 1 of the Tour De Yorkshire will begin in Beverley, heading West to Tadcaster and Knaresborough and finishing in Settle on Friday 29th April 2016.
Beverley will be the only East Yorkshire town to host a stage. The first Tour De Yorkshire in 2015 saw over a million people turn out to watch at the roadside, and was broadcast in over 150 countries.
For the 2015 race, businesses and residents decorated the town with blue and yellow bicycles. As the starting point for next year's 3-day competition, we hope the celebrations will be turned up a gear!
