Tina Cerutti of Cerutti 2 restaurant next to the railway station has joined forces with Age UK for the sixth year of The Great Sunday Takeaway.
A target of 720 roast chicken meals are expected to be served to the elderly on Sunday 23 November, at a cost of £4.50.
They can be collected from 11.45am to 1.30pm, with a delivery option also available for those who are unable to travel.
The chickens, vegetables and all the trimmings have been donated by local businesses as everyone gets into the community spirit.
The meals must be ordered in advance by calling Cerutti 2 on 01482 866700 or Age UK East Riding on 01482 869181. They can be paid for on collection/delivery.
