The Elwells' Partnership in Paint First Look on December 1st

Beverley Art Gallery proudly presents Fred Elwell's newly acquired painting 'In the Studio' in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the artist's death.
The artwork was purchased thanks to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Arts Council England, Victoria and Albert Museum Purchase Grant Fund and the Friends of Beverley Art Gallery.
With private loans and newly exhibited works from the collection, the Gallery's new display focuses on both Mary and Fred Elwell, celebrating their mutual union in life and in art.
