The Beverley Passion Play Takes to the Streets this Good Friday

On Good Friday, 25th March 2016, the churches of Beverley are once more retelling the events of the last week on Jesus' life, in the Passion Play.
Using excerpts from the Bible to produce the script, key moments will be selected and acted out among the hustle and bustle of our busy market town.
Some 2000 years ago, Jerusalem would have been busy with market traders, visitors, locals and soldiers going about your business. It is hoped that all who watch the open-air performance as it moves through Beverley will get a real sense of what it would have been like to witness these events first-hand.
The performance will last round 40 minutes and will start from Beverley Minster at 10:45am.
