Temporary road closure of Flemingate, Beverley from tomorrow (12 January)

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is advising road users and local residents of the temporary closure of Flemingate in Beverley from tomorrow (Tuesday, 12 January) between 15 Flemingate and the Armstrong Way junction.
The closure is necessary for emergency gas main repairs and to allow the repairs to be carried out safely by Northern Gas Networks.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday, 16 January, but the Road Closure Order is valid for up to 21 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via the remainder of Flemingate, Eastgate, Railway Street and Armstrong Way, Beverley. Access will be maintained for the emergency services, residents and pedestrians only.
