Take the Moorsbus from Beverley to Danby for a great day out!
Fri 26th July 2019The Moorsbus runs from Beverley to Danby (via Malton, Pickering, Kirbymoorside and Blakey) on July 21 and 28 and 4, 11, 25 and 26 August.
Leaving Beverley bus station at 9.25, it arrives at the Danby Moors Centre at 11.50, leaving at 16.05 to arrive back into Beverley at 18.25.
If you got off the bus at Blakey, you could walk to Rosedale Abbey for lunch and then get the bus back to Blakey in time to catch the connection back to Beverley.
If you aren't feeling as energetic, then walk from Danby to Castleton and get the train back to Danby.
The buses are all wheel-chair friendly, low emission vehicles with professional, friendly drivers who help locals and visitors alike get around without relying on their cars. Its great for the environment, economy and society!
The Moorsbus is a not-for-profit members' association run by volunteers who are dedicated to improving public transport to and from the North Yorks Moors. Membership is only £5 a year - you can join up or make a donation at www.moorsbus.org
