Pet Cat Show comes to Memorial Hall

Does your cat have the best whiskers or is your kitten the most appealing in Beverley? The Beverley & Pocklington Branch of Cats Protection are holding their annual Pet Cat Show at the Memorial Hall, Lairgate, Beverley on Saturday 13 September and still have space for entries.

The show is open to all pet cats and kittens (including pet pedigrees) and all entries must be fully vaccinated. There are lots of trophies and rosettes to be won, both for the 'open' classes based mainly on the cat or kitten's colour and 'miscellaneous' classes including best eyes, best whiskers, most striking coat pattern, most friendly etc.

Branch co-ordinator Sheila Rees said: "We always enjoy seeing the cats and kittens at the show, especially the ones we homed as small kittens several years ago, but all cats and kittens are welcome, whether they came from Cats Protection or not."
