Minster awarded certificate of excellence

Beverley Minster has been paid the ultimate TripAdvisor accolade after being awarded a 2014 Certificate of Excellence.
Of the 255 TripAdvisor reviewers who posted feedback, 248said their visit had been very good or excellent, with praise being given to the building, the roof tours, the shop and the general welcome.
Paul from Hastings said: "Give York Minster, Westminster Abbey and St Paul's a miss....all packed and over priced. This is THE Minster to visit. Set in a quiet part of the Old town. Wonderful genuinely spiritual atmosphere which helps you imagine what it might have been like soon after it was built...and with some interesting tombs. Just wander round, sit down, savour and think."
The church, which is the town's most-visited tourist attraction and number one in the ranking for Beverley, has been given the certificate for consistently earning outstanding feedback.
