Mayor of Beverley's Pensioner's Lunch

The Mayor of Beverley, Councillor Bryan Pearson, hosted the Annual Pensioner’s Lunch at Armstrong Social Club on Monday February 25th.
Guests tucked into a 2-course meal of steak pie, mushy peas, chips and gravy followed by cheesecake and cream with a cup of tea to follow. There was entertainment and a raffle with proceeds going to the Mayor’s charities – Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre and The Beverley Company of Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade.
More than 60 of Beverley’s senior citizens enjoyed the company of the Mayor, Mayoress and Deputy Mayor and Armstrong’s delicious food.
