Our front cover photo of issue 20 is Lynne Auton, the director of Stipendia Payroll Solutions. Lynne and her team at Stipendia have raised a tremendous amount for the local Beverley charity Go Kids Go. They raised the money from sponsors as they took part in running the Beverley Athletic Club's Beverley 10k in May.
Stipendia have been involved with Go Kids Go and other charity events for three years, since the business began trading in 2013. This year, they raised £940 for Go Kids Go, which will go towards teaching them independent mobility skills alongside introducing them to wheelchair basketball and wheelchair dance.
Their future plans for charity fundraisers consist of team members Anthony and Jack to take on the Humber Bridge Sportive, a 98km bike ride raising money for Hull charity, The Echoes Foundation.
Lynne told Just Beverley: "Running incentivised us to do something for someone else and also helped developed our team-working. Go Kids Go encourages team-working, too, so we like the idea that their objectives are similar to ours."
