Lions New Year's Day Fun Run

The Beverley Westwood Lions would like to thank everyone who got involved with the run making it such a great success again starting at Market Cross at approx 11am.
The Annual New Years Day Fun Run attracted entrants from club runners and casual runners with a choice of two distances 3km and 10km. This was an ideal opportunity for club runners to have a training run with members from other clubs and organisations. The weather whilst wet was kind to all the runners over both of the distances.
The event attracted a good cross section of participants with runners aged 4 and upwards, with a good mixture of male, female, boys, girls and family participants. To remember the New Years Day run a memento was presented to all the finishers.
Its not too late to start training for next years event which will be held on New Years Day at approx 11am. .
