Major restoration works have taken place at Skidby Mill, work started today to reinstate the iconic sails with four different sails to be lifted into position.
Originally constructed in 1821, Skidby Mill, a grade two star listing with Historic England, has long stood as a symbol of East Yorkshire’s cultural heritage.
The restoration works are part of a broader initiative to safeguard local heritage, ensuring the mill continues to educate and inspire future generations.
