KCFM bring Calum Scott back to his roots

KCFM is set to host their first ‘Up-Close’ performance of the year as Hull’s very own Calum Scott will perform an intimate gig to around 200 of their listeners.
Ahead of his UK tour in April, the Britain’s Got Talent star will grace Parkway Cinema in the Flemingate Shopping Centre, Beverley on Thursday evening, all thanks to KCFM.
This is a money can’t buy event. Tickets are only available to those lucky enough to have won a pair through an exclusive competition run by KCFM.
On bringing Calum to the area, KCFM’s Programme Manager Sam Heywood said, “Calum came to our studios last month and performed live, and we were blown away! We had to make sure our listeners had the opportunity to see him too, and what better way than an intimate Up-Close gig!”
Calum rose to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 and received Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer. He sang a cover of Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ on the show and later released his version which reached Number 2 on the chart.
His latest single, ‘You Are the Reason’ has proven popular with fans, especially the duet version in which Scott teamed up with X-Factor star Leona Lewis. The single comes from Calum Scott’s debut album ‘Only Human’.
