Just The Ticket: Free Theatre Tickets for Local Audiences

To mark the 10-year anniversary since the opening of Hull Truck Theatre’s purpose-built theatre space on Ferensway, the company are offering free tickets to local audiences*.
The ticketing offer is open to anyone who hasn’t booked to see a show at the theatre since the company moved into the premises in 2009. If a customer’s details are not saved on file and they live within a 1-hour drive time of the theatre, they may be eligible to receive a free ticket to enjoy a performance of live theatre.
This offer is available to use on any Hull Truck Theatre production being staged between January and July 2019. This includes: Jack Lear (Thur 17 Jan – Sat 2 Feb), Princess and the Hustler (Tues 5 – Sat 16 Mar), Us Against Whatever (Wed 27 Mar – Wed 3 Apr), Paragon Dreams (Tues 23 Apr – Sat 4 May) and The Hired Man (Thur 23 May – Sat 15 June).

We have a fantastic season of theatre programmed for Spring/Summer 2019 so this really is an opportunity not to be missed.”
In addition, as part of the celebrations, Hull Truck Theatre have commissioned 10 ten-minute plays written by Hull writers to be performed by a large cast of Hull Truck Theatre’s Young Company aged 14 to 18 (Mon 11 – Sat 16 Mar). TEN will cover a range of topics, from personal experiences to world-changing events in the last decade. They have also commissioned Paragon Dreams, a kaleidoscopic one-woman show written and performed by homegrown creator and artist Hester Ullyart and directed by Hull Truck Theatre’s Artistic Director, Mark Babych.
