Hull and East Yorkshire Community Acupuncture
Tue 11th February 2020After 8 successful years of providing community acupuncture in Hull and Market Weighton, the team are now adding Beverley to their list of venues to provide low-cost acupuncture. Eileen, Helen and Jane are excited to announce a new clinic will be held in the Quaker Meeting House on Thursdays 1-6pm starting on the 5th March.
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the use of fine needles, inserted into specific points on the body to balance the energy flow. Acupuncture treats the whole person and balances our physical, emotional and spiritual energies to restore good health. According to traditional Chinese philosophy, the smooth flow of
our vital energy can be disturbed by many factors including physical and emotional stress, infections, injury, poor nutrition and environmental factors. When the flow of our vital energy is disturbed, ill health or pain may result.
What is a community clinic?
At the Hull and East Yorkshire Community Acupuncture Clinics we can afford to reduce the cost of treatments by treating several people in one large room. Acupuncture needles need 20-30 minutes to do their work so we can place the needles in one patient, leave them to relax into their treatment and move on to the next patient. By treating more than one patient at once, the price of a treatment is significantly reduced. Depending on the type of condition we are treating, we may recommend weekly treatment for several weeks and by providing a low cost clinic we hope people will be able to afford to attend for treatment on a regular basis long enough to get better and stay better.
Will I have to undress?
We only need access to your knees and below and elbows and below with the style of acupuncture we use and we can treat the whole body like this.
