Help More Kids like George by joining #TheCrew!

Little George Clegg is from Beverley. He's only 3 - but were it not for the Children's Air Ambulance, George might not be here at all. The Children's Air Ambulance is a dedicated paediatric helicopter transfer service which ensures critically-ill babies and children can get the help they need. George was flown the 200 miles from Leeds General Infirmary to Great Ormond Street in London in 65 minutes in 2016 for lifesaving heart and tracheal surgery.
George's Mum and Dad, Kirsty and Russell Clegg, are forever grateful to the charity which receives no government funding and relies on public donations to keep its two state-of-the-art helicopters flying out of Oxford and Doncaster.
Kirsty and Russell have set up a new club #TheCrew to encourage local families to get involved, raise money and keep the helicopters flying to save more young lives. Aimed at 7 to 18 year olds, #TheCrew allows youngsters to learn new skills, make a difference and develop confidence and self-esteem within an organised club. It is free to join with all members receiving a membership card, lanyard, badge, fundraising target chart and collection box. As well as individual children, schools are being encouraged to join #The Crew, which offers fundraising incentives and the chance to meet the helicopter crew for those who achieve certain targets.
