Guide Unit celebrates 90th birthday!

The 5th Beverley (Wesley) Guides who meet at Toll Gavel United Church celebrate their 90th birthday this month. The very popular unit, which participates in a myriad of activities, including socials and charitable events, recently had cause to thank Beverley Town Council, who gave them a grant to replace some of their camping equipment. There is a display in Toll Gavel Church (see photograph) highlighting their history, which would be of interest to anyone who is or has been a member of the Girl Guiding movement.
