Forget About The Horses, Here's The Camels!

Beverley Racecourse is hosting a rather interesting event on Thursday 11th August.
Forget horse racing, the racecourse is introducing camel racing! It is an event sponsored by Reckitt Benckiser Save the Children Charity. The camels will be racing on the Westwood track for the first time, ever!
Bring the family down for the day; watch, meet and support the camels and charity. Learn about the history of camel derby's and learn about the Charity 'Save the Children'.
Camel racing heats will be at 12.50pm, 1.05pm and the final at 1.20pm. The camels will then be available to meet in the Course Enclosure from 1.40 - 2.40pm.
