Filming of an ITV series will mean limited beach access in Flamborough on Thursday (9 August) - but there's still plenty to do in the area!

On Thursday, 9 August, access to the beaches at both North and South Landing will be limited due to filming.
However, all beaches in Bridlington will be open as normal on Thursday, along with all the usual facilities in the town, including Bridlington Spa and East Riding Leisure Bridlington, and the Living Seas Centre will be open at South Landing in Flamborough.
There will be special summer events as well.
The Active Coast programme will feature one of its most popular events on Thursday:
· Have a Field Day : Thursday, 9 August : 11am-4pm : Sewerby Cliff Top: events include giant inflatable bootcamp and freefall; Clip n’ Climb; Cloud Collector Story Telling; Louder than Life drums; dance with Chantal Green and Andrea Borrelli; balloon modelling; archery (ages eight plus); boxing; Nerf Zone; art wall; face painting; sumo suits/ knock your block off; biking for all;Golf Foundation; photo booth : open to all : free (small charge on some activities) . Meanwhile, the Summer of Fun continues at Sewerby Hall and Gardens-Thursday, 9 August will feature a Rusticus Adventure – Shipwreck! A boat load of magical characters have been wrecked off the coast of Sewerby and are making mischief around the grounds. A chance to enjoy energetic adventure walks and activities inspired by Shakespeare’s play, The Tempest. This is in addition to all the usual features at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, including the zoo, the gardens, the café, exhibitions, and the house itself.
