Father Christmas to attend Dementia-friendly screening of 'It's A Wonderful Life'
Wed 31st October 2018The next East Riding Dementia Friendly screening is “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE” - the 1946 classic Christmas romantic comedy starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. The film will be screened at 11.30 am in the Parkway Cinema, Flemingate Beverley on Thursday 29th November.
Attendees should arrive between 10.30am and 11am for free refreshments including mince pies, teas and coffees. Free minibus parking is available in the “compound” close to the entrance of the main Flemingate public car park.
East Riding Dementia Friendly screen films every other month at Beverley's friendly Parkway Cinema. People living with dementia at home or in care homes, their families and carers are encouraged to enjoy these social events.
The Dementia Friendly East Riding charity organises films and other social activities with the help of many local volunteers. Volunteers are always welcome to support the charity even if they can only offer just a couple of hours a week in support of the projects, events and activities.
