Family Shows and Summer School at East Riding Theatre

Snow White - Saturday 1:30pm and 4:30pm and Sunday 11:00am and 2:00pm
Meet Bella and Bijou, two bonkers bakers who look after young Snow White. Between impromptu bouts of song and dance, they run the castle household and make sure the palace is always filled with plenty of tasty treats. But what will happen when a new Queen comes along?
Engine House, the company that brought you the hit shows Red Riding Hood and Flat Staney, Olivier Award-winning Mike Kenny joins forces with acclaimed literary lunatics LipService (Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding) and director Matt Aston to create a fast-paced fresh take on this famous tale, featuring plenty of songs and music.
This show is suitable for children aged 4+ and their families.
Andy Johnson Drama School
A drama course for budding actors aged 14 - 20. This exciting and demanding course consists of workshops and master classes for young actors who are looking for challenging work. It is designed to hone physical, creative and vocal skills whilst developing people as individuals and as team members.
The course takes place 26th - 31st July 2016, with a fee of £150.
Musical Theatre Summer School
Monday 1st August - Saturday 6th August. This brand new Musical Theatre course is designed for aspiring performers (14-20 years old) who want to improve in their craft, challenge their creativity and have a lot of fun doing so!
Led by industry professionals, students will experience an intensive week of training in dance, singing and acting developing new skills and improving old ones. Through a variety of workshops and classes you will be exposed to a range of styles within the three disciplines, from emsemble singing to street dance. The course fee is £150.
