East Yorkshire Foodbank have run into a healthy donation.

East Yorkshire Foodbank are delighted to receive a cheque from Beverley AC. Lucy Stamford, Club Treasurer said “we have paid East Yorkshire Foodbank a terrific donation of £3290.41 - gathered via our efforts as a club throughout 2023. The money was raised in a variety of ways, including the Santa Run and cake stalls. We donate 5% of our race profits too"!

The largest amounts came from offering entrants in the 10k's the opportunity to donate the cost of a t-shirt instead of receiving one, which is both sustainable and charitable.

Lucy commented, "This total is a fantastic reflection on our club, and I, as treasurer, would like to extend my thanks to all club members for their efforts in 2023."

East Riding Food Bank Treasurer Dave Tunstall commented, "The donation is amazing, our thank you goes to everyone at Beverley AC for their support, with demand increasing, continued donations of money and food is essential to meet everyone's needs".
