SHE Productions will, quite literally, open the gates to The Three Kingdoms and welcome you into their eclectic and interactive world. This modern day fairy-tale will have you laughing, singing and casting spells with the Ella family as you follow them in this immersive theatrical experience. This immersive and interactive children’s show is guaranteed to bring out the child in everyone from 3 years to 300.

The Three Kingdoms comes from the company that brought you Beverley Does Broadway and the project is in collaboration with East Riding Theatre. SHE Productions are an emerging theatre company of local actresses who aims to make innovative multimedia theatre for local audiences.

Writer & Director of The Three Kingdoms, Annie Kirkman, said, "From day one we wanted to create and immersive promenade piece leading the audience around the theatre- something we don't feel the East Riding audience will have seen much of.  Jessica (Duffield) and I had discussed adapting a children's book or using well-known fairytales to create the piece. However, one evening we realised we could use our understanding of what makes up a good fairytale and write our own modern and inclusive fairytale instead.  We are lucky to have a diverse group of actors, some of who are also musicians, allowing us to write original songs to lift the magic of the story off the page.
