Community litter-pick cleans up Beverley!

Held on 27th October, Tesco Beverley’s community litter pick was a fantastic success, with several local community groups joining staff from the Morton Lane store to tidy up the streets near to Tesco.
The event was supported by Beverley Town Council, Westwood Lions, the Rotary Club, Beverley in Bloom, Blossom Family community group, ERVAS and students from Volunteen. Full support throughout the litter pick was provided by ERYC’s Streetscene Services team.
Dave Ryley, Tesco’s Community Champion, said ‘‘Tesco would like to say a big thank you to all the local residents and community groups who helped out with the litter pick. It was fantastic that people gave up their time to come along and help make our community a cleaner, greener place.’’
