Christmas Tree Festival in Minster
Fri 12th December 2014Beverley Minster will be filled with Christmas trees this weekend.
More than 70 Christmas trees have been decorated by town groups, schools and businesses for the annual Christmas Tree Festival.
Visitors will be able to vote for their favourites on Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 4pm, and on Sunday from noon to 4pm.
Programmes for entry to the Christmas Tree Festival cost £2 each.
The highlight of the annual Christmas Tree Festival will be a special family concert at the Minster on Saturday.
It will be led by the Minster's choristers and will also feature the invitatione choir and orchestra. The entertainment will include Britten's Ceremony of Carols and baroque music by Charpentier.
Tickets cost £6 for adults and under-18s are free. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
