Christmas holiday fun in East Riding Libraries
Mon 9th December 2019East Riding Libraries will be celebrating Christmas with Storytimes and Bounce and Rhyme sessions.
The Storytimes will feature an Out of This World Christmas, taking a trip into outer space and discovering why ‘Aliens love Panta Claus’ (a book by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort), including songs, stories and activities.
Christmas Storytime sessions are free events and will be held at:
Market Weighton Library and Customer Service Centre: 18 December at 4pm
South Cave Library: 19 December at 3pm
Withernsea Centre: 19 December at 2.15pm
Bridlington Central Library: 18 December at 10am
Hessle Centre: 19 December at 10am
Flamborough Library: 21 December at 10am
Hornsea Library: 12 December at 11am
Goole Library: 21 December at 11am and 23 December at 11am
Beverley Library: 20 December at 10.30am
Stamford Bridge library: 19 December at 1.45pm
Haltemprice Library and Customer Service Centre: 18 December at 10.30am
Christmas Bounce and Rhyme Sessions will feature the book ‘That’s not my snowman’, with lots of fun, songs and rhymes. All the sessions are free, and will be held at:

Leven Library: 18 December at 11am
Cottingham Library: 19 December at 10am
Petuaria Centre, Brough: 18 December at 9.30 am and 11am
Snaith Library: 19 December at 11am
Howden Centre: 20 December at 11am
Market Weighton Multi Service Centre: 23 December at 11am
North Ferriby library: 17 December at 2.45pm
Swanland library: 18 December at 9.15am
Driffield Centre: 20 December at 10.30am
North Bridlington library: 19 December at 2.15pm
Hedon Centre: 18 December at 10am
Beverley Library: 13 December at 10am
Haltemprice Library and Customer Service Centre: 17 December at 9.30am and 20 December at 9.30am.
Librarian Hannah Gibbs said: “Our Christmas sessions are always great fun, and very popular. I hope lots of young families will come along and join in with the Storytimes and the Bounce and Rhyme sessions – there’s no need to book, just come along and get involved!”
