Cherry Tree Community Centre benefits from Tesco Bags of Help Grant Scheme

Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre won £4,000 in the Tesco November/December 2018 Bags of Help customer vote for their safer community equipment scheme. The project has now been completed and on 17th January Dave Ryley, the Tesco Beverley Community Champion met with Beverley Cherry Tree Community Centre manager Jo Ramsay to find out more about how grant has benefitted the centre.
Jo said: ''We recently received £4000 from the Bags for Life grant from Tesco for CCTV for our building The Cherry Tree Community Centre. This has proved extremely useful in helping us to admit people to the right departments. We are extremely grateful for everyone who used their tokens to support our need for CCTV.''
