'Change is just another word for adventure' Little Women at East Riding Theatre
Thu 19th December 2019‘Change is just another word for adventure’ so says Jo March in this vivid, colourful and heartwarming drama.
An inspiring story of the ambitions, aspirations and dreams of four young women as they grow up and begin to make their way in the world, Little Women is light, fun-filled, poignant and funny all at once.
In juxtaposing Christmas and war, high hopes and life’s many vulnerabilities, this dramatisation takes our characters on a journey of love, disappointments and joy. Our Little Women encounter many of life’s lessons with high spirits, braves faces and love in their hearts.
Directed by Jake Smith and adapted by Laura Turner, Little Women brings together a talented cast and crew with both new and familiar faces. The well appointed set provides an excellent backdrop for a busy stage, that sees a lot of energy and action. Catchy music, beautiful costumes and the touching storyline makes this latest Christmas release from East Riding Theatre a wonderful addition to the festive season!
