Cafe to reopen at Cherry Lane Garden Centre Beverley
Tue 7th July 2020With the further lifting of coronavirus restrictions seeing the reopening of bars and cafés across the country, the Watering Can bistro café is gearing up to be ready to reopen at value garden centre, Cherry Lane in Beverley on Wednesday, 8th July.
The Watering Can café bistro will be serving customers its tasty range of freshly produced meals, snacks, teas, coffees and delicious cakes and pastries to enjoy while visiting the popular garden centre.
Group operations director, Karl Ottolangui, said: “We are particularly happy to be able to reopen the Watering Can bistro café, albeit with a slightly reduced menu for the time being.
“Since Cherry Lane reopened, we have been delighted to welcome back all our former customers as well as a very healthy number of new customers. Like so many of us, people of all ages have been spending a lot longer in their gardens and discovering how much pleasure can be gained from gardening. We are very pleased they have discovered Cherry Lane and our value guaranteed offering as well.”
Lee Jackson, manager at Cherry Lane Beverley, added: “We have missed having the café open at the garden centre and I know that our customers will be pleased to see it up and running again. It’s a great place to relax and has always been popular with our customers.”
Cherry Lane reports that the safe social distancing markers which have been established at the garden centre have been well accepted, and that customers have been responding extremely well to the arrangements.
