Sun 28th June 2020Bridlington Spa is delighted to announce that they will reopen on Monday 6 July.
Whilst Government advice currently prohibits live performances; the Café which features stunning views over Bridlington south beach and the Box Office will be back open and welcoming customers new and old.
During the phased re-opening the café will have a limited offer; serving hot and cold drinks, pre-made sandwiches, scones and cakes and customers are advised to pay by card and other contactless methods where possible.
The venue has put new measures in place throughout to protect the health of customers and staff, such as a one way system, extensive signage, sanitiser stations and reduced seating capacities.
Also resuming are the popular free Picturehouse cinema screenings; starting week commencing Monday 13 July, featuring two different films per week, a black and white classic on Tuesdays and a family feature on Thursdays; both at 1.30 pm, with reduced, socially distanced seating.
Mark Lonsdale, General Manager Bridlington Spa said “We’re delighted to be able to reopen in this next phase, the team have been working incredibly hard to ensure we can provide a safe and friendly service.
“We also continue to work on safe plans for the potential to host socially distanced entertainment throughout the summer, providing residents and holiday makers something to do and see, as well as supporting the local economy. This of course is dependent on further relaxation of the Lockdown guidance from Government to allow us to host live performances”
