Mon 13th November 2017Beverley's brand new Rock Choir, Remarkable Rock Beverley, is gearing up for their debut concert hosted at Beverley's fantastic Music Hub, The Hexagon Centre on Coltman Avenue, on Wednesday 29th November at 7pm.
The group launched in September and currently has nearly 50 members, of all ages, from across Beverley & East Yorkshire. The concert features Rock Classics by Bon Jovi, Queen, Coldplay, The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Guns N Roses & Greenday – as well as a little Christmas Rock Finale to get you in the mood for the Holiday season. There's also a special performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody - with rich vocal harmonies, soaring guitar solos and pretty much every note of the original piece, all played by remarkable rock's band of professional musicians. Event organiser Mark Howley was full of praise for the new Beverley choir "We've found such a talented, passionate, dedicated group of people in Beverley and it's been an absolute pleasure to work with them. We can't wait to start performing now."
The choir is also headlining at the Christmas Lights turn on, at the Flemingate on Thursday 23rd November, for anyone who wants a sneak-peak of what they are about.
