Beverley Town Ladies finish on a high

The Beverley Town Ladies football team formed in 2018 to give the ladies an opportunity to improve fitness and have a social get together, a chance for ladies to unwind and enjoy the sport.
The start of the season was a bit of a struggle as the ladies where just bonding as a football team and many of them novices to the game, required time to get use to the technical aspect of football.
Captained by Katie Michaels and coached by Arthur Jessop along with the sponsorship support from The Tiger Inn in Beverley, the ladies improved dramatically and through hard work sure enough the results started to come through.
The Beverley Town Ladies team finished the season on a high with two home wins. The team spirit came through and managed to achieve a couple of great results against Beverley rivals Mill Lane 1-0. followed by a sensational 3-0 victory over Barton Ladies the following week.
The ladies finished a respectable 8th in the women’s league and through hard work and great coaching and support are really looking like a team that could contend at the top of table next season.
