Beverley Rotary Club Host the Spring Beer Festival.
Wed 13th March 2024Beverley Rotary Club supported by Hull & East Yorkshire CAMRA are holding a Beer Festival in The Masonic Hall, Trinity Lane HU17 0DY on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th APRIL. 25 cask beers from around the UK will be available plus cider and perry.
The beers on offer are in a variety of British styles from traditional IPAs and bitters through to stouts and porters, all on draught from handpump. The beers include examples from some old traditional breweries such as Adnams and Shepherd Neame as well as those from more recently established concerns across the country from Orkney through the Midlands to the West Country and Wales.
The traditionally made ciders and perry are produced from fruit grown in the cider makers’ orchards and are on CAMRA’s approved list.
The Masonic Hall’s own bar will be serving tea, coffee and soft drinks as well as alternatives for non-beer drinkers. Hot food will also be available.
Doors open at 4 pm on the Friday until 10 pm. Saturday from 12 noon to 10 pm.
Admission is £5 which includes a programme, commemorative glass and first drink. Card-carrying CAMRA members receive a discount of £1. Payment for beer and cider is by tokens purchased on entry or whilst attending. Card or cash is accepted.
The Rotary Club of Beverley is a registered charity No. 506355. Proceeds from the beer festival will help support various local good causes and charities.
