Beverley Minster deliver a Magical Tour

Tuesday 13th February the doors opened to welcome visitors to Beverley Minster to enjoy an artistic journey and immerse themselves in a light and sound experience taking you from Baroque to Impressionism.
As you enter into the Beverley Minster you are taken into another world, with the interior of the building immersed in Illuminating Art. As one visitor mentioned "It is an unforgettable event, I would never imaged the Minster like this, Just Magnificent!.
A kaleidoscope of images wrap the interior Minster architecture from floor to ceiling, turning the space into a fully immersive experience, showcasing Pre-Raphaelites (Burne-Jones, Millais, Rossetti and Holman Hunt) and the Impressionists, (Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Manet and Renoir). Multiple large-scale projected artworks.
Artistic Director Peter Walker said, "Working with his team of artists "Lux muralis", it is a fantastic to be able to bring Illuminating Art to the Minster, tell a story in such a unique way, allowing people to immerse themselves in the experience, the reaction has been brilliant".
Illuminating Art runs until until Saturday 17th February.
Entry is by pre-paid ticket that secures each visitor a timed entry slot.
