The event, into its seventh year, did not let anybody down. Chairman Councillor David Elvidge and all the volunteers made this Armed Forces Day a special day for all the right reasons.
A parade started the day off, featuring an open air service by The Reverend Andy Oliver CF, followed by a host of entertainment including Humberside Police Concert Band, Beverley Male Voice Choir and a finale with Ellen Brooman. To keep everyone entertained, there was a fairground for the children, plenty of armed vehicles to look around and a climbing wall for the adventurous.
