Beverley Annual Town Meeting

The Mayor of Beverley, Peter Astell, welcomed fellow Councillors, residents of Beverley Town and onlookers to the Annual Town Meeting which was held at the East Riding College yesterday (March 8th).
Topics discussed included the elections (when 8 new Councillors were elected); traffic movements (especially Grovehill Junction, Flemingate and Jock's Lodge); the increased policing presence and the new CCTV cameras which have made Beverley an even safer place to visit, live and work; the festivals held in the town which make the town so vibrant and Beverley in Bloom which makes Beverley look so attractive.
Beverley Town is looking forward to working with the Parish Councils of Molescroft and Woodmansey in the future.
